AveSui EuroTier attracts leading edge in alternative energy generation

Partnership between events for companies' participation and new technologies for industrial electricity in farms

AveSui EuroTier attracts leading edge in alternative energy generation

Farms will be alongside solar panels and wind installations, the main source for the already strong expansion of the alternative energy market in Brazil.

This will be one of the highlights of AveSui EuroTier South America 2019, a pavilion dedicated entirely to the subject. EuroTier, through the Energy Decentral, is one of the main references of fairs in this segment.

According to industry data, Brazil should receive US$ 237 billion in investments in these solutions by 2040. The wide availability of biomass, state legislations, public power incentives and economic gains to adopters have accelerated this transformation.

Last year, for example, Brazil joined IRENA (International Renewable Energies Agency); Santa Catarina passed a specific legislation for rural producers and billions of dollars were invested in factories and facilities of these technologies.

This year, the Government of Paraná reinforced its intention to invest in the bioenergy sector and brought together entrepreneurs, mayors and representatives of OCEPAR (Organization of Cooperatives of Paraná) to accelerate the generation of energy from biomass.

Power generation of this type in Paraná is expected to grow 6% a year, and currently the potential is 3,700 megawatts only with the exploitation of biomass.

In turn, Itaipu Binacional leads the Central Bioenergy project which plans to install biogas plants capable of generating enough energy for around 15 thousand residences. The first of them will be in Toledo in the short term and others will be set up in four additional cities by 2020.

The adoption of technologies for alternative energy generation is also becoming cheaper due to increased production, competition and the development of technologies. Last year, the price of alternative energy was below the traditional price for the first time.

The main innovations of the biomass and bioenergy sector will be at the AveSui EuroTier event, which brings together the expertise of both events. Among the exhibitors already confirmed in the area of alternative energy generation are Bono Photovoltaic, Enermac and ADS (photovoltaic), Germek (biogas) and Andritz, CPM, Schneider Montagens, Zhengchang (biomass or biofuel).
