Lectures of Intestinal Health Panel are defined

The maintenance of animal health, especially diseases or agents that act on the gastrointestinal tract is a factor of extreme importance for the production of poultry and swine. Representing about 80% of the production costs, the ration used in animal feeding brings to light the importance in the integrity of the digestive and absorptive mechanisms of the nutrients for the good performance of the animals.

Due to the importance of the subject for the sector, AveSui 2018 promotes a panel focused on Intestinal Health at Lar Events Center in Medianeira (PR).

Among the highlights of the panel is Dr. Marcos Macari, professor of FCA-Unesp, who will present the theme “The importance of the functionality of the gastrointestinal system to the current parameters of production in monogastric”.

Then, Prof. Anderson Cunha of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCAR), will present the theme “Intestinal Microbiome – Its importance for the host and forms of evaluation”.

The functionality in the control of enteric pathogens such as Salmonella in the Intestinal Microbiota will be the theme of the talk of the veterinary doctor, Dr. Ricardo Hayashi. The panel will be coordinated by Dr. Elizabeth Santin, PhD Professor at the Federal University of Paraná.

The XVII Technical Scientific Seminar on Poultry, Swine and Fisheries will be held on August 1st, 2nd and 3rd, together with AveSui 2018.
