A partnership between Gessulli Agribusiness, organizer of AveSui Latin America, and DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts Gesellschaft – German Agricultural Company), organizer of EuroTier, will take to western Parana the largest fair of poultry, swine, fish and dairy in Latin America. The joint initiative is due to the expertise of both institutions in the organization of agribusiness events. Gessulli Agribusiness, company responsible for the centennial magazine Avicultura Industrial, has organized AveSui fair for 18 years. DLG has been organizing EuroTier since 1993, every two years, at the Hannover Exhibition Center in Germany. AveSui EuroTier South America will take place in Medianeira (PR), 40 minutes from Iguassu Falls, July 23 to 25, 2019.
The partnership between Gessulli Agribusiness and DLG in this endeavor fulfills the objective of both to broaden the business environment for producers, agro industries and exhibiting companies. Last year, Gessulli Agribusiness took an important step in this direction by taking AveSui to the country’s main protein production center. Western Paraná, mainly through cooperatives, has developed an intense and vigorous production of poultry, swine, fish and dairy, in addition to Paraná being one of the largest national producers of grains, such as corn and soybeans. In this scenario, the identification of a strong synergy between Gessulli Agribusiness and DLG was essential for the closure of this alliance in the organization of the fair in 2019.
Gains in technology and innovation
The shortening of distances not only physical but technological, is one of the greatest fruits that the partnership between AveSui and EuroTier can yield. “We will shorten the gap between Latin American producers and existing technologies in Europe and the world. It will be an huge gain for this productive belt composed not only of western Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, but also of Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, “says Andrea Gessulli, director of Gessulli Agribusiness.
Brazilian agribusiness accounts for approximately 25% of the national GDP and has been responsible in recent years for the surplus of the country’s trade balance. The high competitiveness of production is due to the constant incorporation of technologies, many of which presented for the first time in events such as AveSui EuroTier South America. Throughout its history, AveSui has always been the meeting point of the entire productive sector, and is the stage for the launch of innovations, joint ventures, new partnerships and also for discussions on central themes such as animal welfare, sanity and Marketplace. Europe is responsible for many of these technologies and also for pointing out trends in consumption and production. According to Andrea Gessulli, combining these two aspects in a single event reduces the distance between producers and technological innovations, between Brazil, one of the main protein producing markets in the world, and companies interested in acting.
