Scheduled for April 2021, AveSui should be a meeting point for the resumption of the industry

The sector is already preparing for investments to grow more in 2021 and the fair will once again be the meeting point

Scheduled for April 2021, AveSui should be a meeting point for the resumption of the industry

AveSui – Latin America will take place between April 13 and 15, 2021, in Medianeira, Paraná. With strong biosecurity measures and a responsibility of more than 20 years of events, AveSui should be the meeting point for the resumption of the animal protein sector. Domestic poultry production is expected to grow 4% in 2020, reaching 13.8 million tons. Pork meat exports will jump 33% in the year, with a 6.5% higher production, according to the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA).

The expectation is that in 2021 the entire animal protein sector will grow even more.   Optimism is also revealed in investments made by agro-industries and poultry, pork, fish and milk cooperatives. This is the case of Lar Cooperativa, which leased a third slaughterhouse and will reach the mark of 700 thousand birds slaughtered per day. In addition, it intends to invest an additional R$ 350 million in the Medianeira region, where its headquarters are located.

In pig farming, Frimesa, which brings together five cooperatives in Paraná, foresees investments of R$ 2.75 billion in the expansion of its pig farming operations in the next five years. The main investment is R$ 1.05 billion in a plant that is being built in Assis Chateaubriand. It will have the capacity to slaughter 15,000 pigs a day. The works are in the phase of earthworks and foundations. The first slaughter is scheduled for January 2023, according to information from executive director Elias José Zydek to Estadão.

Responsible event seal

The new date of AveSui – Latin America, which also includes the Congress of Precision Zootechnics and technical seminars, provides all exhibitors and sponsors of the event with a solid basis for more strategic planning for the resumption of the sector in early 2021.

AveSui 2021 will meet the high quality standards established in the past, following the recommendations and protocols of the Brazilian Association of Event Companies (Abeoc), the Brazilian Union of Promoters of Fairs (Ubrafe) and the Ministry of Tourism, which granted the “Responsible Tourism” seal to the fair.

The organization of AveSui – Latin America is available to exhibitors and sponsors to answer any questions about the event. Contact can be made by e-mail [email protected] or by phone (Whatsapp) +55 11 93292-1843.
