AveSui consolidates, in its second edition of Paraná, business and visitation of decision makers

With about R$ 900 million in closed deals, AveSui EuroTier South America once again consolidates its position as the leading animal protein trade show in the Latin American market. The event gathered approximately 16,000 visitors in three days, all willing to invest in technological innovations, market prospects, and updates on technical and strategic issues for the productive sector. During the three days of the fair, the corridors were brimming with producers from countries bordering Foz do Iguaçu, as well as executives and producers from various regions of Brazil along with many from other countries in Latin America, Europe and Asia.

AveSui EuroTier 2019 grew 40% in area over the previous edition, bringing together about 150 exhibitors. With a strong international presence, the event proved to be an important gateway for foreign companies into the Brazilian market. Many sought not only to introduce their technologies, but also to establish partnerships for future distribution of their products in the country. “AveSui has always been the gateway to innovations and trends in the poultry, pork and now fish sectors. Many partnerships and joint ventures have been negotiated and closed during the 18 years of the fair. Now in Paraná, in the world’s animal protein production center, it would be no different”, says Andrea Gessulli, director of Gessulli Agribusiness.

Holding the event in Medianeira, western Paraná, the center of the world’s largest productive center of animal protein, has contributed to an accelerated exchange process between the productive sector, exhibiting companies and academia; this has helped to establish new productivity in leaps and bounds, connecting the meat production chain with the main technological and market trends. “AveSui has always been notable for anticipating these trends for its audience, either through new technologies presented by our exhibitors or through discussions within our seminar and congress, and even the creation of new spaces, such as Digital Farming this year”, says Andrea.

The Digital Farming space sought to bring disruptive innovations from startups directly to producers, who had the opportunity to learn about these technologies in an area exhibiting ten AgTechs, which are startups focused on the agro world. These innovative companies were also able to present the impact of their ideas within the so-called Pitch Deck: lectures of up to ten minutes open to the entire public of the event.

AveSui EuroTier South America, held July 23-25, also hosted the fourth edition of the Precision Animal Science Congress and the Poultry and Swine Scientific Technical Seminar, which this year had nine panels, three more than in last year. In all, around 500 attendees gathered for lectures, which covered issues such as biosecurity, meat processing, egg production welfare, fish farming, biomass and bioenergy, euthanasia in poultry and pig farms, market, artificial insemination, and poultry feed factory.

Next year, AveSui Latin America has a set date. It will take place between July 28 and 30 in Medineira (PR). “For a trade fair and dissemination of knowledge and technology like ours, it is very important to be close to the major centers of animal protein production, so we have already confirmed for the third year in a row the event in the western region of Paraná,” concludes the director of Gessulli Agribusiness.
