With a new date, Who’s Who Award 2018 will be held at the opening of AveSui Latin America

The Who’s Who Award: Big and Best Brazilian Cooperatives of Poultry and Swine changed the date. The award will now be on August 1st, during the opening ceremony of AveSui Latin America, which takes place in Medianeira (PR). The change responds to a claim of the participating cooperatives, who preferred the awards taking place inside one of the main productive centers of poultry and swine of the Country, which is the western region of Paraná. The new date – and the realization within the main event of the productive sector – will facilitate the presence of presidents, technicians, members and their families on the night of delivery of Who’s Who 2018, in addition to enabling these guests access to major technological innovations and novelties exhibited at the trade show.

The Who is Who 2018 is presented by the company Plasson, and the Organization of Brazilian Cooperatives (OCB) as institutional support. In its third edition, the award will bring ten categories, including awards for Best Management, Best Technician / Technical Assistance, Innovation, Operational Management, Cooperative Women and Retail, in addition to the existing Economic-Financial Performance, Environmental Responsibility, Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development . Created by Avicultura Industrial and Suinocultura Industrial published by Gessulli Agribusiness, the award seeks to highlight the important role played by cooperatives in the country’s agribusiness development, as well as social improvement and preservation of the environment, highlighting actions and players in this area. Cooperatives and technicians that highlight their production structure.

The collection of information, data analysis and ranking of each category will be made by the company Markestrat, led by the professor and agribusiness market expert Marcos Fava Neves. The questionnaires and request for data have already been sent by the consultancy to cooperatives and cooperatives. With the data in hand, cooperatives, cooperatives, technicians and managers with better performance will be rewarded, thus valuing the excellence results obtained by cooperatives within poultry and swine production systems.
