AveSui offers knowledge, says director of BTA

"When all this is over, we will be able to meet again at AveSui, which provides knowledge, networking and business", José Valter Dornelles Mello, Director of BTABTA Additives, AveSui’s exhibitor, supported the initiative of the event organization to postpone the event, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Thinking about the safety of visitors and exhibitors, the largest animal protein fair in Latin America will be held between September 29 and October 1, 2020.

“Changing the Avesui date was a wise decision, since at this moment we are unable to hold any event, meeting or fair, due to the risks of contamination and transmission of the Covid-19. Like other countries, Brazil is also at this critical moment, which requires isolation, according to WHO guidelines, although some sectors – such as food, in which we are inserted – cannot stop”, said José Valter Dornelles Mello, Director General Operations, BTA Additives.

He says that the company continues to produce, with all the necessary care to avoid contagion, seeking to serve all customers, as far as possible. “We also understand that at this critical moment, related to the health of the world population, we need to show solidarity. For this reason, we are assisting and contributing with entities linked to the Health area, such as hospitals, health surveillance, firefighters and universities with donations of alcohol and other necessary supplies ”.

For Dornelles with everyone doing their part, this moment will be overcome. “As in other opportunities, the social aspect is very strong in the vision of BTA. We understand that each one of us doing our part will be able to overcome this moment. And when all this is over, we will be able to meet again at these important events, such as AveSui, which provides knowledge, networking and the resumption of the economy through business, ”concluded the director.

Biosecurity

AveSui’s organization always adopts biosecurity measures. These works were already  intensified in the 2019 edition, with the aim of preventing African Swine Fever (ASF) and Avian Influenza, which affect other countries. This year it won’t be any different. AveSui follows the same guidelines of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply (Mapa) and the Agricultural Defense Agency of Paraná (Adapar), which regulate good practices aimed at the prevention and control of infectious diseases, in order to ensure biosecurity in the national territory.

The organization of the fair always advises its exhibitors and visitors not to enter the event grounds with food of porcine origin. Similarly, those who have just arrived in the country should wash clothes, backpacks, handbags and shoes used in the country of origin. It is also important to sanitize cell phones, tablets, laptops and watches with alcohol gel sanitizer when returning.
